Cookies

We do not use cookies but we can’t exclude that the web server technology which serves our website uses cookies for internal purposes. If so we would not use them. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser downloads and stores on your computer. They are used to improve our website and services. In most cases these are so-called "session cookies" that are deleted once you leave our website. To an extent, however, these cookies also pass along information used to automatically recognize you. Recognition occurs through an IP address saved to the cookies. The information thereby obtained is used to improve our services and to expedite your access to the website. You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting the settings on your browser software accordingly. You should be aware, however, that by doing so you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

SSL encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL encryption procedures via HTTPS.

Use of script libraries (Google web fonts)

For the homogenous display of fonts, this website uses so-called web fonts that are provided by Google (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). On retrieving a website your browser downloads the necessary web fonts to your browser cache in order to correctly display texts and fonts. If your browser does not support web fonts, your computer uses a standard font. For further information, please see https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

AWStats

In order to evaluate our site statistically, we use the free web analytics software AWStats. The tool is used for the analysis of standard webserver-log files which are generated based on visitor requests. The program does not use "cookie" files for evaluation. Statistical analysis is performed on the log files containing IP addresses. Unlike to other statistical programs AWstats doesn’t share data with third-party servers. The program is installed on our own hosting package on a server based in Germany. This way a transfer of data to foreign countries can be avoided. The tool is only used by us to improve our website.

Changes of our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this policy so that it continually meets the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services. This new privacy policy is valid for your new website visit.
